About Science Association

Science Association is a democratic association of science faculty students and teachers. The principle and staff council secretory nominate the in-charge faculty member as a convener of association for every academic session in the staff council meeting along with the two faculty members while all other science faculty members are involved in the active execution of all activities of this association. The convener of association call a meeting of all science faculty students for the election of student president of science association along with the whole event organizing team of students for that current academic year to percolate the objective of science association in the students of science through various scientific activity as

Aims and objectives :

• To promote inquisitiveness among the students and inculcate scientific attitude among students.
• To trigger interest among the students in Science.
• To encourage, motivate and equip the students in applications of Science and its interface with society.
• Practice at the process skills needed in science.
• Increased opportunity to develop and practice thinking, speaking and listening skills.
• Opportunities to experience a wider range of science topics to enrich their enthusiasm for science.
• To keep the students in touch with latest scientific knowledge.
• To understand working of common instruments.
• To create awareness among students for eradication of superstition.

As the university theory examinations commence just before that the concluding program of science association is done by giving farewell party to the final year students with best wishes. During this event the students are honored with “student of the year, best association student member as well as the students who acquired highest marks in last year university examination or with university rank.
